Elev8 is committed to being usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We design and build with accessibility in mind and continually improve based on member feedback.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the app and website. This includes readable typography, sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus indicators, meaningful alt text, semantic HTML, and support for screen readers.
Features that help
- Support for system-level text size, dark mode, and reduced motion.
- Descriptive alt text on profile and interface imagery.
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus states on every interactive element.
- Captions and transcripts for video intros where provided by the member.
- Voice notes and text alternatives so members can choose how they communicate.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is a continuous journey. Some parts of the app are still being improved. We audit regularly and prioritize fixes based on impact and member feedback.
